You’re invited to KGAN’s fourth International Development Drink networking event! Join us for a night of networking, socializing, and sharing at Frick and Frack Tap House on Wednesday, January 30th. This FREE event will run from 5pm – 7:30pm, and it provides an a fun, informal opportunity to chat, debate, socialize and connect with others who are passionate about working, volunteering and learning more about international development.
There will be brief speaker presentations throughout the evening and information will be provided about local international development related organizations, including Developing World Connections, World Neighbours Canada, and the CanGo Grannies. Featured speakers include members of the Fusion Rotaract Club of Kamloops who will be discussing their recent trip to a clinic in Santa Rosa, Nicaragua, where 7 Rotaract members worked on community development projects in support of good nutrition and health.
As well, there will be free appetizers for those who arrive early. This all-ages event is a great place to meet local people who are involved in sustainable development within the Kamloops community. Drop-ins are welcome.
Call for speakers/table displays:
